Getting ready to dribble and kick..

Our school football team seems to be sweating out on the field in preparation of the upcoming football tournament which is organised by the Cocurriculum Department next week. The coach has been so diligent in giving trainings to the football players. It is hoped that S.R.T.T's football team will show victory spirit in the fourthcoming tournament.

Hi, Hello and How Are You?

A half an hour "Let's Talk and Chat in English MSN activity" was carried out again this morning by a Year 6 pupil of our school. S.R.T.T is partnered with S.R.Danau's Year 6 pupils. This is the second session they had since the launching date which took place on the 9th of February 2009.

This activity is proven to be interesting and enjoyable for pupils in terms of having conversations in English language. Pupils involved seem to be rather cautious on their English especially in constructing sentences during their talk/chat.

What the teacher has to say about this:
"I firmly believe that by using eclectic teaching methods and having a wide repertoire of tricks and techniques we can avoid our lessons to get in the rut. To my mind, technology can help break the monotony of teacher-centered instruction and allow the students to take charge for their learning. I definitely believe that with the help of ICT we can create such a supportive, inspiring, exciting atmosphere in the classroom -and even out of the clasroom- in which learning can take place. And I think that's the main point. "~Y6B teacher
