MAJLIS SAMBUTAN HARI GURU 2012

The Teacher's Day Celebration was organised on the 24th October 2012 (Wednesday)


The objectives of the event were:

1. To celebrate the teachers's day and appreciate their effort in teaching.

2. To give the chance for the pupils to express their love and thanks to the teachers through their performances and the cards that they made.

 

 

Guru Besar - Cikgu Mohmad Ali Bin Hj Nudin

In his speech, Guru Besar highlighted on the theme of this year celebration which is 'Guru Berkualiti Pelajar Berinovasi'. He encouraged teachers to be highly motivated, to continuously  upgrade their skills and knowledge to withhold the challenges brought forward by teaching career especially now that it had become more complex with the implementation of SPN21. Teachers are also encouraged to be more proactive in an attempt to bring positive changes to the community and the country as a whole.


Pupils were advised to be respectful to their teachers, to appreciate the effort made by the teachers. He reminded the pupils, that the teachers always had the best intention whenever they pinpoint a mistake to their pupils.



 

 



Year 2 performed a Modern Dance of 'Kikik Serbang Merah'

The message of the song calls out that pupils should strive for their ambition regardless of the challenges that lies ahead. Red symbolises the passion and spirit of learning in life.

 



Year 1 performed a hit musical of 'Oh ! My English' 

The song itself brought forward the message and really promotes learning especially the subject English.

It gives the chance for the pupils to express their gratitude and love for their teachers

Prior to the celebration a competition was carried out to promote creativity amongst the pupils where they produce their own Teacher's Day greeting cards.
